Finding spider egg sacks...

...is much preferred to NOT finding them, and then noticing hundreds of little itty bitty black widows around.

*shudder*

Even better is realizing the black spider next to said egg sacks is not a black widow. Double phew!

Where did you find it?

Well, that one I found inside, nestled between some notebooks laying on their sides on an unused bookcase. I later decided it was a black widow after all; a male one.

The next day I found ANOTHER black widow AND two more egg sacks that I disposed of, outside inside a container for toys (long-since empty, which is why spiders had been taking up residence there). I flushed those egg sacks and disposed of the black widow as well. She was a big beauty, though.
